Ultrasonic Thickness measurement method is an accurate, fast and relatively inexpensive method to determine thickness and perform corrosion mapping on ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
For thickness measurements we only use type approved equipment with the latest technology from established and well respected manufacturers to guarantee our accuracy. Therefore, we are working with highly appreciated equipment brands like Cygnus Instruments and GE Krautkramer Instruments.
All our equipment is multiple-echo, smart, simple to use and suitable for measuring thicknesses and remaining wall thicknesses, especially on parts which are susceptible to corrosion (ship structures, pipies, etc.). This equipment is capable of carrying out measurements where coating or other
surface treatment has been applied, thus dispensing with costly repairs and/or touch up work.
Our Hatch Cover testing equipment is ABS type approved and accepted by P&I club. It is able to perform a quick and effective weathertightness test on hatch covers of dry cargo vessels and gives the exact location and the extent of leakage.
For the underwater inspections we use Cygnus DIVE Underwater Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge and Navatics MITO underwater drone/ROV.
